Great Exercise Training and Learning Site: www.ExRx.net
This is a great reference site to all types of exercises, workouts, sports regiments, & basic training. Has information for the beginner guy to the well-trained lacrosse female star. Take a peek, you will be impressed.
It is a little cumbersome to navigate, but you will find a lot of articles on types of training, myths, even frame-images ( like video) of how exercises work. Here is an example in the exercise & muscle directory.

You Got Me Going in Circles... Facebook!
In order to have a decent state of mind and good health, one must take time out of their day to perform mental and physical tasks to keep one's body fit. Doing push-ups, running, reading, doing brain games, puzzles etc. not only conditions your mind & body positively, but are good pre-requisites to avoiding/stopping depression, fatigue, lethargy, & poor studying. There are many more positives that come from exercise but this isn't an after-school special so I am going to move on.
My point is time is needed so you can manage a little to keep yourself in shape, whether through exercise, developing your mind, or self-reflection. A lot of people will hold onto the classic rebuttal of " I don't have enough time in the day. I have class then work, then I have this play I need to go to" and so on and so on. While it is true that time crunches toward the end of the semester as the work accumulates, I have just one suggestion that can help put some hours back into your busy day:

STOP USING FACEBOOK ALL THE F@&KING TIME!
I am not one of those advocates that think that Facebook is ruining our society, or that you won't get anything done if you do use Facebook. But like illicit drugs and greasy foods, if you do not moderate your intake of Wall-to-Wall extravaganzas every hour of the day, then it will develop into a problem ( and maybe an addiction) that is hard to step away from.
Facebook is a socializing site. The difference between Facebook and a lot of other social websites is that it is made to keep up with people you know. Your clique. Your buddies. Humans are very interactive and social creatures, and what better way to enjoy being part of groups then to check up on your friends (and their friend's friend and random hot men/women etc.) than through the Facebook six-degrees of separation?
Yet, I hear how two of my friends have deleted their accounts because they had used it beyond the average amount of four hours a day. Four Hours! I could learn a language in a week if you give me that time. I have seen people randomly search for no one in particular, just to count the amount of people on campus who are "date-able" ( stemming from the Seinfeld 95% rule.)
But there are more egregious stories that don't float around me because most of the people I do hang around with don't use Facebook that often. I am not going to lie, I probably use Facebook on the tail of 45 minutes per day. The difference is I use it for activities, events, and other means by which I get to point B from point A. Even working to showcase events (and this website :)) I felt that I was wasting a lot of time on the website, and have since started to slow down my intake of logging on in any given week.
Facebook is a powerful tool to bring people together. There have been stories where snooping cops have been sent to parties with college students drinking chocolate milk. There are presidential hopefuls and underdogs that have gathered their masses with views that could help our country. There has even been a growing and ominous battle between swashbucklin' pirates and clandestine ninjas. Yet there has to be a line to where the utility of networking and entertainment meets the futility of adding anything meaningful to what has to be done as a college student on every given day.
Remember, you have finals and papers coming up. You would do better on these if you keep yourself in shape. Facebook is fun & there is a lot to do, but Umass is $20,000-$30,000 a year. Turn it off for a little bit, and get some work done.
